How to Fix a Dislocated Shoulder

Last week on a Wednesday, well into my daily morning ritual of hitting the snooze button and lounging a bit more in bed, I finally decide to get up and start my day. But not until after sneaking in one final morning stretch to get the sleep kinks out of my body. I reach up and out and.. out pops my shoulder from the socket! Wow, I’m out of shape. The sucker just slips out over the cartilage and there I am, trapped in bed with my arm hanging out of the socket. Hmmm… what a conundrum.

Endless Shrimp

Last night Basil and I realized we had a free and quiet Friday night tonight… no plans, no obligations, no work to catch up on… *?blink?* …. What the heck should we do? The soon-to-be-found, somewhat-obvious answer of course was: what else but Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster!? Flying Southwest

I just flew Southwest this weekend back from Seattle, and the crew for Flight 887 (departing SeaTac at 6:35 p.m.) was a class act. Song and Dance, the whole 9 yards.

Love Bugs?

Somebody please tell me what kind of bug this is and how best to exterminate them? Is it wrong of me to want to kill them off in their own habitat as they generally stay outside?

Chicken Nugget Toe

Basil’s big toes are shaped like chicken nuggets. I just find them fascinating because I’ve seen no other toes like his, though from what I hear his dad’s toes are the exact same way. My feet are no less strange and are “lovingly” called chimichangas as they resemble medium-sized stuffed burritos. But I can appreciate my chubby feet and Basil’s funny looking toes as small quirks that are a part of who we are.
